About

Saccades are quick movements of our eyes which happen as they attempt to focus on different objects in our field of vision. This helps the brain to make a clearer picture of our surroundings in order to make sense of them. This mechanism by which the eyes pick and choose interesting objects to focus on reminded me of the way in which this occurs on a more general level. We everyday come into contact with a vast range of media: songs books films etc which makes it hard to give our attention to any one particualr thing for any length of time. So bearing this in mind I have decided to take a range of subjects: people, films, songs who I believe deserve more attention and talk a little about them and what I think makes them interesting.
